Day Support Services

The Arc of Lincoln County provides a Community Living Day Supports Program.  Day Support Activities (DSA) are a form of support focused on building social and interpersonal skills, offered outside of an individual’s home in a group setting. This program helps individuals with intellectual and developmental Disabilities (IDD) reach their personal goals in community-based, small group settings.  DSA is important for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) as it helps them explore interests, cultures, and talents, form identities, connect with others, and improve social skills.

The Day Support Program with The Arc of Lincoln County creates access to community activities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Participants enjoy gathering with friends, playing games, doing crafts,  gardening, bowling, attending movies, hiking, Club Wellness, practicing self-advocacy, and sharing new experiences throughout the community.

This program is a Day Supports Activities Program funded with Medicaid dollars as a part of a person’s ISP. If you, or someone you know, would like to participate in this program, contact your service coordinator or personal agent to add The Arc of Lincoln County to your ISP.  If county or brokerage services are not available to you, we can discuss a private pay option.
